Growing up in New York City, I was surrounded by the arts. My earliest memories at age two are of attending the ballet at Lincoln Center. Adventures to the Museum of Natural History, the Planetarium, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Guggenheim were routine staples. I studied dance, pottery, arts & crafts, jewelry-making, and photography throughout my formative years.
At New York University, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree studying Psychology, in addition to Fine Arts and Art History. After college, I worked with fiber arts as a doll maker and wool sculptor. I studied watercolor and crafts at the graduate level, and taught painting and crafts to children of many ages for over fifteen years.
Upon relocating to Naples in 2016, I began to concentrate exclusively on Photography as a creative medium. Far from family and friends, I found solace and joy at the seashore. Amazed by the beauty of Southwest Florida’s coastline, and desirous of sharing the experience, I began capturing images.
My sincere desire is for these photographs to serve as an invitation to participate in the awe I encounter all around me.
